Piper Molins (she/her) is an undergraduate student from Denver, Colorado, studying journalism with an emphasis in strategic communication. She describes herself as goal-oriented, passionate, and impact-driven. Piper has writing experience as a demands clerk for the law firm Harper, Evans, Hilbrenner and Netemeyer, and she has experience managing social media for Visionworks Marketing Group and University of Missouri Career Center. She also is involved with True/False Film Fest Art Team and participated in a Global Leadership Adventures Creative Writing Fellowship in 2019. Piper has served as managing editor of The Maneater, the University of Missouri student newspaper, and has held a number of leadership positions on campus, including diversity equity and inclusion chair of Mizzou Student Media, community chair of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists, and Welcome Week student leader. Piper is interested in research on strategic communication for social good, specifically improving media depictions of people from marginalized communities.
